In 2012, North Bay Leadership Council (NBLC) has three sponsorship opportunities. Please consider becoming a sponsor for one or both of our annual SignatureEvents, and NBLC’s Algebra Academies.
We are proud that NBLC’s Signature Events are known throughout the North Bay as first class programs, providing high quality content and value on relevant issues that affect our businesses and communities. The success of these events depends on your support. We are grateful for your past participation and hopeful that you will continue to make sponsoring NBLC’s events/programs a priority.
The 2012 Economic Insight Conference will be held on May 31st, from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, Petaluma. Over 200 leaders from Marin, Sonoma and Napa attend this conference presenting original research on the hot topic of the day. Sponsors are prominently featured in the media and the day of the event.
The 6th Annual Leaders of the North Bay Awards Luncheon will be held on November 2nd, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel, San Rafael. The awards showcase NBLC’s leadership on the issues, and recognize leadership in others in the North Bay. The Leaders luncheon is an inspirational experience that sells-out with 350-400 attendees. Sponsors will receive prominent exposure in all media and have prominence at the event.
NBLC’s Algebra Academies are ground-breaking public/private partnerships to improve college and career readiness for English learners, preparing them to become productive members of the North Bay’s workforce and community.
NBLC launched its first Algebra Academy last year in Novato. In 2012, we want to also launch academies in San Rafael and Petaluma. With your help and support, we can achieve this aggressive goal and make an impact in two additional North Bay communities. The academies are public/private partnerships -- we need YOU as a host and/or sponsor! Your sponsorship helps pay for teachers, supplies, transportation, parent/student orientation meetings and graduation ceremonies. NBLC is very excited to offer this program that will spur English learners with knowledge that will improve their academic achievement – but also connect the dots for them on why learning algebra and other math and science-related topics is a linchpin for college and career readiness.
