Midstate Construction completes Petaluma Health Center Renovation
Owner Petaluma Health Center, Inc.and general contractor Midstate Construction Corporationrecently completed the Petaluma Health Center Tenant Improvement Project. This project is being awarded the 2011 Best Medical Project by the North Bay Business Journal on December 14th at Sheraton Sonoma County.
This project is a renovation of an existing 53,000 square foot building. Designed by DES Architects + Engineers of Redwood City, this OSHPD 3 medical center is located on North McDowell Boulevard, in Petaluma. The community health center provides top quality, economically accessible primary health care, obstetrics and gynecology, mental and behavioral health services and more to residents of Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Cotati and the surrounding areas. The facility includes medical, dental, laboratory, administration offices and a center for healthy living.
The work performed by Midstate Construction Corporation and its subcontractors includes demolition of the existing interior, complete interior tenant improvement build-out, new IT infrastructure and equipment and significant mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. Exterior renovations include ADA upgrades, new energy efficient roofing and window systems, new canopy and site improvements.
