Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership and 100MARIN Announce   Fall 2025 Philanthropy Award Recipient

Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is thrilled to announce that Marin Foster Care Association has been selected as the recipient of the $15,000 award at the 100MARIN Fall 2025 Celebration of Philanthropy

Held on Wednesday, October 8 at Marin Humane, members of the 100MARIN giving circle voted Marin Foster Care Association as the top honoree, recognizing their impactful work providing critical support to children in foster care and the families who care for them—ensuring stability during times of profound crisis. Through advocacy, resources, and community connection, the organization transforms hardship into healing and hope.

At the event, five Marin nonprofits — Sanzuma, EAH Housing, Center for Domestic Peace, Enriching Lives through Music (ELM), and Marin Foster Care Association — were honored. Along with the premier award recipient, each nominee received a $1,000 cash award

Founded in 2015, the 100MARIN Giving Circle is a network of more than 125 members passionate about supporting local nonprofits. By pooling contributions starting at $150, 100MARIN has donated over $400,000 to Marin County nonprofits since its founding.

“Thanks to the generosity of 100MARIN members and sponsors, we’re able to provide crucial funding to local nonprofits,” said Linda Jacobs, CEO of CVNL. “This event highlights the power of collective giving—where individual contributions come together to create lasting change and strengthen the nonprofits that are the backbone of our community. In a time when local organizations face increasing demand and limited resources, this collective impact is more important than ever.”
