Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Announces New Services!
Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa has significantly expanded its services over the past year, merging advanced medical knowledge with our foundational commitment to compassionate care and clinical excellence. From a new Urgent Care facility to complimentary valet parking, we are committed to meeting the evolving needs of our members and community. As we continue investing in your health and well-being, we remain focused on innovation, accessibility, and patient-centered care.
Urgent Care In 2024, we opened our Urgent Care clinic, offering nonemergency care via walk-in appointments at the Santa Rosa Medical Office Building 1, Suite 140. An urgent care need is not an emergency medical condition but does require prompt attention, usually within 24 to 48 hours. You can visit urgent care for minor wounds or cuts, bites, sprains, strains, frequent urination or burning sensation when urinating, sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing, severe sore throat, cough, high fever, mild breathing issues, earaches, and more.

Ambulatory Treatment Center
The new Ambulatory Treatment Center (ATC) successfully opened at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa on December 2, 2024. In just a few short months of operation, the ATC’s personalized care has kept dozens of patients out of hospital overnight stays, ED visits, and hospital readmissions.
The goal of the ATC is to keep patients, especially older adults, at home and prevent unnecessary hospitalizations. The ATC offers physician oversight and short-term treatments (under 12 hours) for acute and extended outpatient treatment and observation. This convenient option offers patients a tailored combination of services including expedited laboratory evaluation, diagnostic testing, infusion, and post-discharge follow-up.
Advanced Surgical Robot
Last year, our surgical team acquired a new surgical robot to provide advanced surgical assistance for urological, gynecological, and general surgeries. The advanced surgical system allows surgeons to provide state of the art care through advanced optics and higher dexterity of movement, ensuring the safest procedures for patients and reduced postoperative pain. More information on our Surgery department here.
Infusion Center
Phase 2 of the new Infusion Center opened in mid-March, offering a state-of-the-art space for patients to receive infusions. This beautifully designed, expanded space offers a calming environment for both patients and staff, featuring private infusion bays designed to enhance comfort and dignity during treatment.
Our Infusion Center provides oncology infusion treatments, as well as blood transfusions, PICC lines insertions, antibiotics infusions, and more. More information here.
Free Valet Parking
Valet parking is available for members and patients at the Santa Rosa Medical Center via the main hospital entrance. Aside from valet parking assistance, members can also find wheelchair concierge services to various departments within our facility. These services provide a convenient and accessible parking solution for patients and ensure that those with mobility needs are well taken care of throughout their visit.
Physician hiring
A top priority at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa is continuing to scale our register of physicians to keep pace with our growing membership. In the past 12 months, we have hired 54 new physicians, bringing us to over 400 physicians ready to serve our members and patients. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing culturally responsive care through our diverse hiring practices and care offerings.
