SMART Launches MASCOTS Plan to Connect More People to More Transportation
Writing in a post on LinkedIn, “Beginning Sunday, April 12, we’re increasing service by 19%—with more trains earlier in the morning, more frequent midday trips, and later evening service to fit your schedule. These improvements are part of the MASCOTS Plan—a regional effort to better connect transit across Marin and Sonoma counties and into San Francisco, and in response to rider feedback. That means: Easier early commutes, More flexibility during the day, More options to get home or stay out later, Improved connections. We’re also improving timed connections with Golden Gate Transit’s Route 101 at the San Rafael Transit Center, so getting to and from San Francisco is smoother, with less waiting and more reliable transfers. Whether you’re commuting, running errands, or heading out for the evening, SMART is making it easier to ride. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/ewx3XdDC .”
